Face The Music Foundation’s Richie Supa was chosen as Gratitude House’s special honored guest to their “Black and Bling” Gala.
Richie has over 40 years in the music industry including winning Grammy’s, he has toured and written songs with Richie Sambora and Aerosmith. However, less people know he also sang and danced naked as a star of Hair on Broadway. Richie has spent a number of years working with the Boggy Creek Children’s Foundation, he has served as an honorary chair with the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County and still spends every Christmas singing to the children at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. He is a recovering addict and clean for 26 years, Richie is the Director of Creative Recovery at Recovery Unplugged which is an addiction treatment center where music makes the difference. He has also earned the coveted lifetime achievement Prism Award for music in the arena of addiction along with 2 song of the year awards.
At the Gratitude House Gala, Richie spoke about his own personal journey and his passion for helping others, and he performed an acoustic set of his original music.
